La coral de mares i pares de l’escola

Tant si canteu bé com si canteu malament, teniu l’oportunitat de formar part de la coral de mares i pares de l’escola 🙂

Ja som més a la coral del Pere Vila, però encara ens calen més pares i mares per fer un cor de més d’una dotzena.

  • Els assajos es fan cada dilluns de 17-18h
  • Tenim servei d’acollida per als marrecs.

Poseu-vos en contacte amb l’AMPA (o Monica) si voleu formar-ne part.

Tot i que al llarg del curs us hi podeu anar apuntant i afegint al grup, és important que aquells i aquelles que ho tingueu clar ho comuniqueu durant el mes de setembre per a saber si s’engega l’activitat o no.

Meet Monica!

Monica is a music teacher for kids. In her spare time, she’s kind enough to lead our parent’s choir at Pere Vila.

Wanna join?

  • When? Mondays 17-18
  • Where? On the school premises
  • How? Uh, just sing ok? And there will be a babysitter if needed

It doesn’t matter if you sing good, bad or ugly… it’s all about having fun 🙂

PS. Let Monica or the AMPA know as soon as possible so we know if there are enough people joining

Festa de la diversitat 30/9

La tercera festa de la diversitat s’apropa!

  • Diumenge, 30 de setembre
  • A partir de 10:00

Com ja sabeu, serà una festa dedicada a la cultura africana.

Totes les famílies de l’escola esteu convidades a venir. Les famílies d’Àfrica són les amfitriones, tot i que la col·laboració i la participació de tothom serà molt benvinguda.

Durant la festa infants i grans podrem gaudir de jocs, tallers, música, danses, menjar… ambientats en la cultura protagonista.

Us esperem a tots per compartir aquest moment!

 

Join our Diversity party, Sep 30th

As most of you know, last year we started organizing cultural parties at the school, to celebrate diversity.

Now it’s time for our 3rd party! This time the African continent and culture is our focus.

It’s a joined effort between the school, the AMPA and parents, and all kids and parents at the school are invited to join. (Oh, and to help prepare hehe, don’t be shy – get in touch.)

During the party, both children and adults can enjoy African games, workshops, music, dances, food… you name it.

We’re hoping everyone will want to share this moment with us. Let’s have some fun!

See you on Sunday, Sep 30th. We’re starting at 10 🙂

 

 

Välkommen till Pere Vila!

A new term is almost here and Pere Vila is after getting an incredible amount of Twitter love.

A Swedish dad who is just after moving here with his 4-year old, reached out to the Twitter community:

 

 

The response was massive. As of today, the post has been retweeted 3500 times.

 

 

 

 

Now, since you’re crazy enough to leave our social media in the hands of a Swede, I contemplated a full blog post in Swedish to wish him welcome.

Then decided against it 🙂

So here’s a special hello and welcome to Thomas’ kid, and everyone else who will be starting Pere Vila on September 12th.

We’re looking forward to meeting you all!

Our Parent’s Association usually do a welcome party (uh, Cora, when is it?) at the beginning of the school year, where everyone can ask day-to-day questions, meet other parents, etc.

And if anyone wants to get in contact with Thomas’ family before school starts, he’s here.

Pues eso, ya falta muy poco – empezamos de nuevo el 12 de septiembre.

Nuestra escuela acaba de recibir un montón de amor a través de Twitter, después de que un padre preguntó a la comunidad de Twitter por un poco de ayuda.

Hay respuestas en varios idiomas, de tiendas del barrio, de vecinos… una mezcla muy bonita de gente con buenas intenciones 🙂
